  Why didn't Watchtower go online with covid?

  i wasn't surprised they didn't go online, i was shocked.

  the perfect opportunity handed in a silver plate.

  more time goes, more proof coming they took wrong decision going back to hall's.

  No physical congregation would mean even fewer and smaller contributions

  funerals aren’t the first place you’d expect marketing.

  but jehovah’s witnesses know how to turn every moment into an opportunity to share their message.. during funerals, they weave in their teachings of hope and resurrection, offering comfort and, at the same time, presenting their beliefs to attendees who may not be part of the faith.

  a christian couple must make decisions that reflect their resolve to honor jehovah, to please each other, and to maintain a clean conscience.

  generally speaking, a couple would not discuss with others this intimate aspect of their marriage..

  i always felt like i was not a "spiritual" person because i loathed going in field service.

  i'm not even sure why i loathed it.

  i am very outgoing and can talk to anyone, anytime, about anything.

  Best times we're doing "still" not at homes, breaks, if somebody got on a study a nap waiting for them. Worst was too hot or cold and that damned tie. Add mood music to keep us older ones from hearing conversations.

  these new appointments are troubling, to say the least, especially considering the factors surrounding their selection.

  So far as I know the one-week halls are where travel is long. One I knew about (Wyoming) had 100 miles so everything was Sunday

  Zoom here has 25 to 40 cameras with only 2 or 3 pictures shown. Many elderly, sick, single sisters in rough neighborhoods.

  i was listening to a lunchtime call in radio show about jws and the personal experiences of being disfellowshiped, and a former elder called in saying he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws and their involvement in the un in the 1990s ,and he just said look it up.. thinking that it was a made up lie ,so i looked it up and it was true even a letter confirming it from the un itself and that led me here and to jwfacts and further research into the history and teachings of jw and walked out the door about 5 years ago.
